Privacy Policy

Effective: 13 June 2026 · Last updated: 13 June 2026

The short version

You can play Penalty Picker anonymously — no account needed. We store your game progress under an anonymous ID so it isn't lost. Sign in with Google or Apple only if you want to save and transfer that progress to another phone. We don't sell your data, and we only collect what the game needs to work.

Who we are

Penalty Picker (“Application”) is published by The Playmakers (“Service Provider”) as a free service, provided “as is”. This policy explains what we collect and why. Contact: fritz.playmaker@gmail.com.

What we collect

You can play without an account. We sign you in anonymously so your progress can be stored. We collect:

No location, no contacts, no tracking for ads. Penalty Picker does not collect your location, your contacts, or build an advertising profile of you.

How we use it

We use the data above only to run the game: store and restore your progress, sync it across your devices when you sign in, send you a notification when a penalty is awarded in a live match (with your permission), and diagnose crashes. We do not sell your personal data.

Third-party services

The Application relies on third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

Notifications

With your permission, we send push notifications when a penalty is awarded in a live match so you can predict it in time. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings.

Your choices & deletion

You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the app. To delete cloud-stored progress tied to a signed-in account, sign out or email us and we will remove it. You control notification permission from your device settings.

Data retention

We keep your progress for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable period afterward. You can request deletion at any time.

Children

The Application is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards, including Google Firebase security, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take protecting your data seriously.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted in the app and the “Last updated” date above will change. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised policy.
